Here is a little Sugar cookie tip! Notice how sometimes your sugar cookies come out a little bumpy on yop? The trick is to flip your cookie over when placing it on the baking sheet!

Wrapping paper scraps
Hello again, Friends! I come to you today with an idea on how to use left over wrapping paper scraps, and blessing other, yes that's right, two purposes, how handy!
I have been saving toilet paper rolls since... September, just for crafts and things, you know how it is, always have to have toilet paper rolls around, anyways, I always save pieces of wrapping paper that look just to big to throw away, but kind of to small to actually wrap anything with, unless of course it was a gift for ants(zoolander reference).
So What I do is cover the roll in wrapping paper and then put candies inside, I then wrap the roll in cellophane and tie the ends with ribbon, they almost look like Christmas crackers!
I like to leave them at restaurants for the waiter who helped us or give them to the cashier, just something little to brighten their day around this festive season that can get a little hectic!

When they were dry we dipped the rims in a glue mixture made from school glue and some water (we added water to thin it out, on its own glue is too thick and clumps the sparkles)
Right after you dip rims in glue mixture, dip them in the sparkles. Sparkle Tip: dump sparkles in narrow container like a bowl or small dish so you can evenly cover rims!

Why I think Just Beiber is part penguin.
Yes You read right, I *think* there might be a chance that the Beibs is part penguin. Lets compare some facts.
1. Penguins like the cold....Beiber is from Canada... Enough said.
2. Penguins are entertaining, The Beibs is also an entertainer.
3. Penguins walk kinda funny......
Check out the link and you'll see that Mr. Beibs is wearing some weird looking pants, thus making him look kinda penguinish.

Stampede sister fun!
I took the little sister (well one of them) to the stampede, it was pretty fun once I got over the outrageous parking fee, and no they do not wash or wax your car for that fee, I made sure to ask. I think M consumed more than that of a small family. We had a lot of fun tho!

black forest cupcakes
These are pretty much delicious, and SO easy to make!
What you need:
Chocolate cupcakes(see recipe below)
Cherry pie filling, store bought or home made
whipped cream
Vanilla icing ( you can use a can of store bought, I never do, I make my own BUT I don't know how I make it, it is delicious and wonderful and next time I make it I will take time to measure and stuff so I can share it)
Recipe:
1 1/2 cups
all purpose flour
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup cocoa
1/2 teaspoon
salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla
1
tablespoon white vinegar
1/3 cup vegetable,
peanut or light olive oil
1 cup cold water,
milk or chocolate milk
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Mix all dry ingredients first, then add the rest. Bake at 350 for about 20 minutes.
wait until they are completely cool!
When the cupcakes are cool go ahead and spoon out a section of the centres (see 1st pic) and fill in with cherry pie filling.
Mix whipped cream and icing until firm peeks are formed, if either whipped cream or izing is too runny try adding some icing sugar. When icing is ready put into a piping bag and pipe around the cherry's.
There you have it! simple and delicious!

5 year engagement- 2 hours and four minutes I will probably never get back.
Have you ever thought to yourself, "self, I want to go waste money on a movie ticket and then sit for 2 hours and 4 minutes wishing I was not at this movie"? THIS is the movie for you! I *may* be over exaggerating
It wasn't terrible plus i was in the presents of VERY good company:) The problem was.....it was boring, all the funny parts were showed in the commercials, you'd think since it was by the same people who made "Bridesmaids" it would be fantastic, clearly not the case PLUS we had to see a little too much of Jason for my liking. I can't even say they worked thru their troubles because they did break up for a bit, so really it was not 5 years they were engaged, more like....3 just sayin.
