A verse that makes you think.

So, I was reading the bible, looking for a verse on a totally different subject, but I stumbled across Romans 12-9:17-21
Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men. 18 If it is possible, as much depends on you, live peaceably with all men. 19 beloved do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, "vengeance is Mine, I will repay", says the Lord. 20 Therefore "if your enemy is hungry, feed him;If he is thirsty, give him a drink; For in so doing you will heap coals on his head." 21 do not be overcome by evil, but over come evil with good.
Grudges, are just so useless if you ask me, some people think its "taking a stand" other simply don't want to be bothered with the task, of dealing with situations weather they be wrong or right. In reality, what do grudges really prove? You have a longer memory of negative things that have happened? "repay no evil for evil" is pretty clear! Whats worse is when it is grudges between fellow christians, these days we should all be working together, to bring people to Christ, and not focous on who is wrong and who is right. We were forgiven so we could also forgive.

falling whistles

“Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves,

for the rights of all who are destitute.

Speak up and judge fairly;

defend the rights of the poor and needy.” Proverbs 31:8-9
