After Christmas I bought a new truck and I am LOVING it, its so beautifully shiny, or it was anyways, this past week has been hard on it with all the snow melting. How bout that weather eh.. minus 39.. Don't miss that!
I thought I would add a recipe of some fantabulas cookies Brittany and I made at christmas time, I think I will make heart ones for valentines day...I'm kinda iffy about valentines day but whatever.
Sugar Cookies
1 cup butter 2 cups sugar2 eggs 3 tsp. vanilla
1 cup sour cream 1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda 5 1/2 cups flour
In mixer, cream butter and sugar, and then add eggs and vanilla. Add sour cream. Combine salt, soda, and flour, and add to mixture.
Use a spatula to carefully slide under each cookie and place onto greased cookiesheets. Bake at 375 for 7-8 minutes. These cookies will not look done but do not.. I repeat DO NOT put them back in the oven, they will not taste good if they are hard and crunchy!
Let them cool for about...half an hour on a wire cooling rack. then decorate as you wish. They are so delicious:)
AND lets not forget cute sisters for good measure!
those cookies turned out WONDERFULLY! even after they had been put in the freezer and were eaten 1 month later everyone loved them! i will forever be making this cookie recipe!
